Inter-university competition to develop low cost plastic waste recycling machines/solutions
The awareness session was organized by Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) in collaboration with UNESCO, UNDP, Global Water Challenge, Coca Cola Foundation and New World on 4th August 2021 at Auditorium, PSF Islamabad. The Honorable Senator & Federal Minister for Science and Technology Mr. Shibli Faraz, Prof. Dr. Shahid Mahmood Baig, Chairman, Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF), Dr. Rab Nawaz, Senior Director Programmes, World Wide Fund for Nature Pakistan (WWF), Ms. Patricia McPhillips, Country Director, UNSECO Pakistan delivered speeches/remarks on the event. Total 65 participants including students and faculty members and general public from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS), Islamabad, COMSATS University, Islamabad, Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF), Islamabad, Pakistan Scientific and Technological Information Center (PASTIC), and Pakistan Museum of Natural History (PMNH) participated in the event.
