1. Preparation of budget of main Ministry and S&T organizations.
2. Re-conciliation of accounts and expenditure of the Ministry and S&T organizations.
3. Liaison with DAC/PAC including appropriation of accounts, and related audit matters of the Ministry & its organizations.
4. Maintenance and Reconciliation of Accounts.
5. Coordination and Scrutiny of Budget: Expenditure and Receipts.
6. Consolidation of Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP).
7. Internal Control / Internal Audit.
8. Preparation of NIS of all development projects.
9. Release of funds to all development projects.
10. The AGPR matters including timely release of funds.
11. Monthly PSDP expenditure statements for Finance Division.
12. Maintenance of Assignment Account of different projects.
13. External audit / Public Accounts Committee / Departmental Accounts Committee matters.
