1. Promotion & Development of industrial technology.
2. Promotion of Metrology, Standards, Testing and Quality Assurance System.
3. Establishment of Accreditation system in the country.
4. WTO/TBT affairs relating to PSQCA.
5. Inter-Ministerial Coordination with regard to issues related to Scientific and Industrial Research, Environment, PS Standards, Accreditation and quality infrastructure etc.
6. Evaluation of PC-I / proposals of the organizations come under the purview of Technology Wing.
