Muhammad Azam khan Swati, Federal Minister for Science and Technology chaired the meeting of senior officials of the Ministry, Today. Head of Organizations including Rector NUST, Rector COMSATS and Chairman PEC were also present in the meeting. Federal Minister was briefed on the function and achievements of the Ministry of Science and Technology .Minister was also appraised about the mandate and performance of various organizations of the Ministry. Minister desired all the participants to work for the development of their organization. He further motivated the officers to work with a result oriented approach. Minister directed all the heads to submit monthly report regarding the running projects in their respective organizations. The project’s progress report will be evaluated by the ministry in order to decide the fate of the project. Federal Minister also stressed the heads of the organizations to rationalize the man-power needs of the organizations in order to reduce non-beneficial burden on National exchequer
