Engr Sajid Baloch, Secretary Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) conducted whirlwind visits to see research work, Laboratories and trainings in 4 offices of National Institute of Electronics (NIE), Pakistan Halal Authority (PHA), Pakistan Council of Renewable Energy Technologies (PCRET) and newly built Solar Technology R&D Centre built with excellent support of the KOICA Korean Government as our valuable partners. Emphasized upon the teams to deliver as per demands of modern age. Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) initiatives and projects proposals must have following focus to Come.up to expectations of people and government: Key Objectives: 1. Direct benefit to 250 million people of Pakistan. 2. Commercialization of Research with benefit to industry / demand-based research R&D. 3. Facilitate Ease of doing business and Digitization of services (Licenses, Fees etc). 4. Income Resource generation / earn Foreign Exchange Reserves / import Substitution / donors / traunings consultancies etc. 5. Encourage Youth in science STEM especially girls.
