The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan, Dr. Reza Amiri Moghadam, and Deputy Minister for Science, Research and Technology, Dr. Abolfaz Bahe Di, held a meeting with the Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Khalid Hussain Magsi, in Islamabad. The discussion focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in the fields of science, technology, and education between the two countries.

Federal Minister Khalid Hussain Magsi emphasized the immense potential for scientific and educational collaboration between Pakistan and Iran, suggesting the initiation of joint projects of mutual interest. Both sides agreed to foster university-to-university cooperation, research initiatives, and student exchange programs to strengthen academic and scientific ties.

The meeting also addressed the need to ease cross-border trade and discussed relevant security matters. The Federal Minister stressed that stronger trade relations would not only foster economic development but also contribute to regional stability. He also underlined the importance of mutual cooperation in advanced technologies and innovation.

The Iranian delegation appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in the field of science and technology and expressed a desire to further expand cooperation in the future. Both countries reaffirmed their commitment to work closely together for the advancement of education, research, and economic development in the region.
