Pakistan and Iran Sign MoUs to Boost Scientific and Technological Cooperation
Islamabad, August 3, 2025 – In a significant development aimed at enhancing bilateral scientific ties, Pakistan and Iran have signed key Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to promote cooperation in the fields of certification, inspection, and testing services.
The MoUs were formally exchanged at the Prime Minister’s House between Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Nawabzada Khalid Hussain Magsi, and the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, H.E. Reza Amiri Moghadam, in the presence of senior officials and dignitaries from both sides.
These agreements underscore the shared commitment of Pakistan and Iran to strengthen collaboration in science, technology, and innovation. The initiatives are expected to pave the way for knowledge exchange, technical capacity building, and the establishment of mutual standards in key industrial and technological domains.
